How do I steal an inactive/banned username?

Clout's inactive account policy

As an up and coming social media network, Clout encourages all users to actively log in and use their Clout account once they register. To keep your account active, be sure to log in at least once every 30 days. Accounts may be permanently removed or have their usernames forfeited due to prolonged inactivity.

How Clout determines inactivity

Inactivity is not solely based on logging in, but also includes general account activity. Please note that you may not be able to tell whether an account is currently inactive, as not all signs of account activity are publicly visible.

Can I request a username from a banned account or an account that looks inactive?

Yes. If an account appears to have been inactive for over 30 days, you may open a ticket to request that the username be swapped to your existing account. Please be sure to include the following information in your request:

  • The email address and username associated with your Clout account

  • The username you wish to claim

Your submission will then be reviewed by the Clout Team to determine if the requested account meets our requirements for inactive accounts. This review process typically takes between 48-72 hours, and you will receive a determination via email/the ticket. Usernames are released at the full discretion of the Clout Team.
